August 31, 2010 - Danny Russell enlisted in the USAF in 1966. Trained as a Morse Radio Intercept Operator, he served two years in Japan before joining the 6994th Security Squadron flying on EC-47s in Vietnam. His plane was shot down on April 22, 1970.
