Memphis Belle Unveiling
Recently EAA staff attended the opening of the B-17F Memphis Belle exhibit, which honored the first heavy bomber aircraft and crew to complete 25 missions during WWII. It was acquired by the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in 2005.

Jerry McLaughlin walks us through the amazing efforts to restore the iconic B-17 Flying Fortress, “City of Savannah.” This B-17 is proudly displayed at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force in Georgia.
EAA's B-17 Aluminum Overcast Participating in Memphis Belle Rollout
EAA just recently kicked off its 2018 B-17 air tour, and will have Aluminum Overcast in Dayton, Ohio, on May 17-20 to participate in the opening of the Memphis Belle exhibit at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
