Timeless Voices - George Cowan
George Cowan (1922-2005) was a B-17 pilot with the 306th Bomb Group during WWII. After his plane was shot down on a mission, he spent the rest of the war as a POW in Germany. He later served as the first president of EAA Chapter 38 in Perry, GA.

Jim Soyk, Sr. enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950 and was sent to electronics school where he excelled. He was then assigned to Utility Squadron VU-3K attached to White Sands Missile Range, where he worked as a F6F-5K drone operator.

Richard Greenhut was commander of the Civil Air Patrol's Northeast Region on September 11, 2001. He was instrumental in leading the CAP's relief efforts after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
