Don McKibben was one of the original cadre of pilots with the 352nd Fighter Group, 8th Air Force during World War II. He flew 80 combat missions with the 486th Fighter Squadron in P-47s and P-51s until September 1944.

Timeless Voices - Frank McCauley
Frank McCauley flew P-47s with the 61st Fighter Squadron of the 56th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force. He flew 45 combat missions between April and November of 1943 and was credited with 5.5 aerial victories during his combat tour, making him an ace.

Caroline Jensen graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1998. She served as a T-38 instructor pilot and transitioned into F-16s. After completing a combat tour in Iraq, she joined the USAF Thunderbirds demonstration team as right wing pilot.

C.E. "Bud" Anderson flew P-51 Mustangs with the 363rd Fighter Squadron of the 357th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force during WWII. Over the couse of two combat tours and 116 combat missions, Bud became an ace credited with 16.25 aerial victories.

William Hartshorn was a P-47 pilot with the 61st Fighter Squadron of the 56th Fighter Group - the famed "Zemke's Wolfpack." He was shot down on his 26th mission on Sept. 18, 1944 during Operation Market Garden.

Brigadier General Dan Cherry served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1988. He flew two combat tours during the Vietnam War: the first in F-105s and the second in F-4s for a total of 285 combat missions. He is credited with one MiG-21.

Lawrence Alley was a USMC dive bomber pilot during World War II, but the war ended before he saw combat. Recalled to active duty during the Korean War, Lawrence flew 100 combat missions as an AD Skyraider pilot with Marine attack squadron VMA-121.
