Ralph Johnson flew P-47 Thunderbolts with the 62nd Fighter Squadron of the 56th Fighter Group - the famed "Zemke's Wolfpack" - during World War II.
Timeless Voices - Jim Soyk, Sr.
Jim Soyk, Sr. enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950 and was sent to electronics school where he excelled. He was then assigned to Utility Squadron VU-3K attached to White Sands Missile Range, where he worked as a F6F-5K drone operator.
Timeless Voices - Ralph Norton
Ralph Norton flew TBF Avengers with Night Torpedo Squadron VTN-63 aboard the USS Kula Gulf (CVE-108) during the latter months of WWII. Recalled during the Korean War, he flew Grumman Guardians on anti-submarine patrols.
Timeless Voices - Ralph Rechlicz
Ralph Rechlicz (1923 - 2008) was a B-17 waist gunner with the 708th Bomb Squadron of the 447th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force during World War II. He flew on Lt. Robert Morley's B-17 "Dottie Jane" out of Rattlesden, England.
Timeless Voices - Ralph Tate, Jr.
Ralph Tate, Jr. flew tranports in India and China for the Air Transport Command during World War II. After the war he flew VIPs and had the harrowing experience of crashing a C-47 into the Swiss Alps and spending 5 days trapped on a mountain top.
