Experience Family Flight Fest 2018
Family Flight Fest was a blast for visiting families, EAA staff, and volunteers alike, as younger visitors got to enjoy activities such as assembling various kinds of gliders and paper airplanes, and parachuting eggs (mostly) safely to the ground.
EAA Skiplane Fly-In Draws Crowd to Pioneer Airport
Guests flocked to Pioneer Airport on February 10 for the annual EAA Skiplane Fly-In, always one of the more colorful events of the winter season. Nearly 30 skiplanes participated and included a Young Eagles ride on skis for one lucky young person.

Dozens of airplanes flew into EAA's Pioneer Airport on June 17 as part of EAA's Ultralight Day 2017. Not every airplane involved was technically an ultralight, some are light-sport aircraft, but Ultralight Day is about focusing on lighter flying.
